Homeless Shelter Resident’s Refusal To Shower Leads To Arrest

Sheriff's deputies say the suspect was yelling profanities at shelter staff in front of children.

(Aurora, Ind.) - A disorderly conduct arrest was made at the Heart House homeless shelter in Aurora Tuesday night, according to the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department.

A sheriff’s news release stated that deputies were dispatched to the shelter on U.S. 50 for a report of a male refusing to take a shower.

The suspect, Robert A. Wood III, 23, of Versailles, “began to get agitated and yell profanities at staff where there were children present after being told to calm down.”

Wood was arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct.
