A woman was found dead in a home on SR 148 last week.

(Aurora, Ind.) - An investigation is underway after an Aurora woman was found dead in her home.
Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies, along with Aurora and Lawrenceburg EMS, responded to a home on State Road 148 last Wednesday for a female that was found unconscious and not breathing by a family member.
Upon arriving at the scene, the female, Debra Hill, 67, was determined to be deceased.
After the initial investigation and the autopsy were concluded, Hill's death was ruled a homicide.
The Sheriff's Office doesn't believe there is any immediate danger to the residents in the area, but homeowners are encouraged to keep their doors locked and remain vigilant while the investigation continues.
