I-71 Shut Down By Truck Fire

(Sparta, Ky.) – Interstate 71 in Gallatin County had to be shut down Tuesday morning after a truck hauling cars caught fire.

 

The trailer of the truck went up in flames at about 7:00 a.m. near the Sparta/Kentucky Speedway exit.

 

Many of the Toyotas on the trailer were destroyed.

 

Firefighters said nobody was hurt.

 

I-71 was shut down for over an hour during the cleanup of the truck fire.
