Kentucky State Police Investigating Fatal Crash in Gallatin Co.

One person was killed a two vehicle crash on Monday afternoon.

(Gallatin County, Ky.) - One person was killed in a two vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Gallatin County. 

Multiple agencies responded to the crash on U.S. 42 involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle. 

According to Kentucky State Police, the operator of the motorcycle, Dylan Rudder, 30, of Crestwood, was traveling westbound on U.S. 42 and overtaking another vehicle when it struck a pickup truck traveling eastbound head on. 

Rudder was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The investigation is ongoing.
