Landing Gear Problem At CVG

(Hebron, Ky.) - A Comair passenger plane was able to land safely at the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport Friday morning.

The plane, reported to be a RJ-700 jet, had to circle the airport’s control tower at least twice because it was having trouble deploying its landing gear.

The gear eventually did deploy and the plane landed at about 10:30. Emergency crews were placed on standby at the runway.

The plane was destined for CVG.
