(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors is scheduled to reduce westbound I-74 to one lane to complete median cable barrier installation near Whitewater River in Dearborn County.

On or after Monday, December 4, crews will close the left-hand driving lane of westbound I-74 at approximately 8 a.m. over Whitewater River (near MM 168). The left-hand driving lane is expected to reopen Friday, December 8, at approximately 5 p.m., weather permitting.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
