The lane closures are only supposed to last a few hours.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) – Pavement work will require lane closures on Interstate 275 in Hamilton County next week.
The Ohio Department of Transportation says the left lane of northbound I-275 just east of the Whitewater River will close from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Thursday, August 16.
Pavement work will also require a left lane closure on northbound I-275 at U.S. 50 at the same time.
Traffic will be maintained with arrow boards and signs alerting motorists of the upcoming work zone and lane closures.
All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to remain alert, slow their speed and watch for stopped traffic, crews and equipment when passing through the work zone.
