Lane Restrictions Coming To SR 1 In Greendale

Utility pole work will require State Road 1/Belleview Drive to be reduced to one lane at times over the next three weeks.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Folks who drive State Road 1 through Greendale can expect to encounter some work crews this fall.

City Manager Steve Lampert says an electrical subcontractor will begin working on utility poles and lines along S.R. 1 between Ridge Avenue and Craig Avenue. The two-lane road near U.S. 50 is also known as Belleview Drive.

The pole work will begin on Monday, October 22 and will take about three weeks to complete.

S.R. 1 will be reduced to just one lane for a majority of the work, says Lampert.
