Local Gas Prices Now Average $3.59


(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Local gas prices jumped 20 cents Wednesday, signaling the second big price increase in the past week.

 

Motorists were scurrying to find gas for $3.49 Wednesday as many stations in Harrison, Lawrenceburg, and Florence began posting prices of $3.59 or even $3.69.

 

Some stations along U.S. 50 in Dearborn County as well as Cleves are still at $3.49 as of Thursday morning.

 

Tracking website CincyGasPrices.com says Thursday’s average price for regular unleaded in the tri-state is $3.59. Area gas has not been this high since last September.
