Throughout this past legislative session, Lyness had the opportunity to welcome six local students serving as pages.

(Indianapolis, Ind.) – During the 2020 legislative session, State Rep. Randy Lyness (R-West Harrison) was able to welcome local students to the Statehouse while serving as pages.
Participating students include:
- Alexia Loring, Greendale, attends Lawrenceburg High School
- Sam Mahoney, Guilford, attends Oldenburg Academy
- Lana Meyenburg, Osgood, attends Jac-Cen-Del High School
- Frederik Terhorst, Holton, attends Jac-Cen-Del High School
- Anna Timon, Lawrenceburg, attends Sunman-Dearborn Middle School
- Otávio Viotti, Holton, attends Jac-Cen-Del High School
The Indiana House Page Program allows students to tour the offices of all branches of government in the Statehouse, help staff with daily responsibilities, and even join Senators, like Lyness, on the House floor to witness the legislative process.
“Meeting student pages is one of my favorite parts of the legislative session,” Lyness said. “It is a fun and informative experience for everyone involved. Besides providing these students a unique learning opportunity, it gives me a chance to connect with the youth in our communities and hear about what they are learning in school and their plans after graduation.”
While this session's page program is done, Lyness encourages students to consider participating in 2021.
