All events scheduled for Dec. 12-13 will not take place due to COVID-19 concerns.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Main Street Aurora announces the cancellation of the December 12th & 13th Miracle on Main Street Events, including Parade, Live Nativity, Train Rides,Trolley Rides and Live Reindeer.

“For 16 years we have looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed providing seven days of Christmas activities for our community.  Written Covid19 plans were received from all participating entities but after verbal consultation with Dr. Stephen Eliason of the Dearborn County Health Department, we have made the difficult decision to cancel all events scheduled for December 12th and December 13th, 2020.  Because Main Street Aurora has the well-being and safety of our volunteers, family, friends, and our community as our top priority this decision was not taken lightly.  Main Street wishes you and your family a healthy holiday season.” – Nancy Fahey Turner, Executive Director.

Main Street Aurora encourages the community to shop downtown Aurora and support our local retail, specialty, and restaurants during the holiday season and throughout the coming year. You can request curb pickup, delivery, or takeout. Downtown offers unique holiday gifts and personalized shopping experiences or gift certificates are certainly always an option. #shopsmallbeforeyoushopbig where #goodthingshappeninaurora!
