Renovations have returned The OBT to a traditional general admission music hall just as it was 83 years ago.
(Mount Vernon, Ky.) - Music is ringing from the rafters once again at the Old Barn Theatre at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center - The OBT! Renovations and restorations have taken place over the last few months, and we are ready to swing open the barn doors and invite you in to check out what we have been up to!
The century old theatre has been the home of music at Renfro Valley since 1939 and has become one of the nation’s most storied music venues, hosting countless legends over the years. Renovations have returned The OBT to a traditional general admission music hall just as it was 83 years ago, while maintaining its historical significance with the original barn wood floors, stage, signage and more. Ole Smoky Distillery has custom built a bar inside the hall so that you won’t miss a beat when grabbing your favorite refreshment. Visiting The OBT is truly a unique experience and there is no better place to hear live music!
Recent soft openings after the Blackhawk and Randy Travis New Barn Shows have given Renfro Valley concertgoers a sneak peek into The OBT and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Check us out this week’s Scotty McCreery After Party featuring 8 Daze Sober and Carrie Anne McDonald. Doors open at 10pm, the concert is free courtesy of College Shine Car Wash in Richmond, KY.
