National Guard Soldiers Come Home From Iraq

(Indianapolis, Ind.) - Forty-five Indiana National Guard soldiers are back home after spending a year in Iraq.

The members of the 219th Battlefield Surveillance Brigade left the war-torn nation on Thanksgiving and ate their Thanksgiving dinner in Kuwait.

Lieutenant Morgan Gosnell said Iraq has become "eerily calm" as the Iraqi Army continues to take over from the U.S.

Around 100 more Indiana National Guard troops will arrive this afternoon at Stout Field from Iraq.
