Nighttime Pothole Patching Scheduled in Boone Co.

(Boone County, Ky.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists that Boone County highway crews will be patching potholes on I-71 southbound and northbound and I -275 westbound and eastbound. Expect delays with rolling roadblocks.

  • I-71 SB/NB (77.7 - 68.8 mile-marker) – Starting approximately midnight 12 a.m., crews will be patching potholes on I-71 starting at the I-75 interchange going southbound to the Gallatin County line.  Then return getting the northbound side.  A rolling roadblock will be used so that crews can address potholes on all three lanes in a safe manner.  
  • I-275 WB/EB (1.5 - 13.8 mile-marker) – Starting approximately 2 a.m., crews will be patching potholes on I-275 starting at the Kenton County line near the I-71/75 interchange going westbound to the Carroll Cropper Bridge. Then return to get the eastbound side.   A rolling roadblock will be used so that crews can address potholes on all three lanes in a safe manner.  

Work should be complete by 5 a.m. Motorists can expect delays during this time.
