Ohio Co. Sheriff's Office Alerting The Public Of Ongoing Scam

The scammers are saying there is a problem with you Amazon account.

(Ohio County, Ind.) – The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the public of an ongoing scam.

In a Facebook post Thursday, the Sheriff’s Office said there is a new scam regarding Amazon. Scammers are saying they are calling due to suspicious activity on your Amazon account.

The scammers are reportedly requesting people’s email address.

The Sheriff’s Office is reminding area residents to never give out personal information to anyone, especially account information.
