One Dead In Truck Stop Accident In Florence

The accident occurred Friday afternoon.

(Florence, Ky.) - One person is dead after an accident at a northern Kentucky truck stop. 

Florence Police responded to the TA Truckstop on Burlington Pike in Florence on Friday around 1:21 p.m.

Police say a parked tractor trailer rolled forward as the operator was walking in front of it. As result, the operator was pinned between the tractor trailer and a pickup truck. 

The individual was flown to UC Medical Center for treatment. He later died from the injuries sustained. 

The person's name was not released.
