The accident happened just before 7:00 p.m.

(West Harrison, Ind.) - A West Harrison man remains hospitalized after a Fourth of July accident on Whites Hill Road.
Dearborn County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the single-vehicle crash on the 26000 block of Whites Hill Road around 6:50 p.m.
According to a news release, Kevin Powers, 35, of West Harrison, was southbound on Whites Hill Road when his truck left the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. The impact of the accident caused Powers’ vehicle to roll multiple times.
Powers was ejected from the vehicle and landed on a live powerline. Bright EMS was able to perform an “emergency rescue” and made contact with Powers. He was flown to UC Medical Center where he remains hospitalized.
His condition is unknown at this time.
A passenger was treated and released at the scene.
