One Injured, One in Custody After Stabbing in NKY

The incident took place Tuesday in Florence.

(Florence, Ky.) – One person is in custody after a stabbing in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident on Ridgeview Drive around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, deputies learned that two teenage, juvenile siblings got into a verbal altercation, which escalated to one juvenile stabbing the other multiple times with a knife.

The victim was airlifted to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is in custody and will face criminal charges as result of the incident.

The names of those involved were not released.
