Opening Knight Show Choir Becomes 50-Time Grand Champions

(Aurora, Ind.) – It was a milestone weekend for a group of performers from South Dearborn High School.

Opening Knight Show Choir captured their 50th Grand Champion trophy on Saturday.

Opening Knight was named Small Mixed Grand Champion at a competition in Loveland, Ohio. The team also received Best Vocals and Choreography.

Timmy Hill received Outstanding Male Soloist and Clovis Hudnall was named South Dearborn’s Outstanding Performer.

Opening Knight is directed by Justin Selmeyer.

Jeff Burton and Jason Johnson handle choreography, Ben Donohoo is the instrumental director, and Austin Ridlen is the assistant director.
