Osgood Man Found Dead At Home In Holton

The death appears to be due to natural causes.

(Holton, Ind.) -  A death investigation is underway in Holton.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies, Ripley County EMS, Holton Fire, and the Ripley County Coroner responded to a home on West Washington Street on Friday morning around 9:22 a.m.

Upon arrival, responders located Larry Simers unresponsive.

The 77-year-old from Osgood was pronounced dead at the scene. According to a news release from the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Simers' death appears to be of natural causes.

An autopsy is pending.
