Phone Scam Targeting Southeastern Indiana REMC Members

(Osgood, Ind.) – A scam has been reported in Eagle Country.

Southeastern Indiana REMC announced this week that members are being targeted in a phone scam.

Callers are posing as REMC employees and asking for member’s account numbers and personal information.

If you are contacted by a scammer, do not give any personal information, and hang up.
