UPDATE: Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

Update published Monday, November 25 at 2:58 p.m.:

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a bank robbery suspect.

Dearborn County Sheriff Shane McHenry says several law enforcement agencies responded to a robbery at the U.S. Bank location on Bank Street in Dillsboro on Monday around 10:48 a.m.

Law enforcement investigators learned that a female entered the bank alone, demanded money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation with assistance from the Dillsboro Police Department, Indiana State Police and the Lawrenceburg Police Department.

Anyone with information about the suspect or her whereabouts should contact Dearborn County Dispatch at 812-537-3431.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - Police are looking for a suspect related to a bank robbery in Dillsboro. 

U.S. Bank was robbed today by a person who police describe as a heavyset female. 

The suspect passed a note to the clerk, and then fled on foot. 

Police are asking that the area be avoided.
