A portion of Greendale was without power for about two hours this afternoon after a dead tree struck a live tree and fell into some power lines.

(Greendale, Ind.) - Some Greendale residents are dealing with a power outage.
According to Greendale Utilities, a portion of Greendale residents between U.S. 50 and Ridge Avenue are without power as of 12:00 p.m. Monday.
It is unknown at this time what caused the outage. Crews are currently working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible.
