(Aurora, Ind.) – A Prom Week tradition is continuing at South Dearborn High School.
The Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office and South Dearborn Community School Corporation will host a Mock Crash Scene for South Dearborn High School students on Monday, May 17 at 1:00 p.m.
The mock crash educates young drivers about the dangers of distracted driving and intoxicated driving.
The event is held every year prior to Prom, which will be held Saturday, May 22.
Agencies participating in the event include the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office, Aurora Fire Department, Aurora EMS, Hogan Fire Department, Dearborn County Coroner’s Office, and University of Cincinnati Air Care.
