(Indianapolis, Ind.) - State Rep. Randy Lyness (R-West Harrison) recently welcomed Nathaniel Buesing as a student page to the Statehouse.

Buesing, from West Harrison, attends East Central High School. As a House page, he toured the governor’s office, the House and Senate chambers, and the Indiana Supreme Court. He also helped staff with their daily tasks and met with Lyness to learn more about the legislative process.

“I always love working with local students throughout session,” Lyness said. “The page program is a great chance for young Hoosiers to spend a day in the capitol building learning more about our state government.”

Students between the ages of 13 to 18 who are interested in paging during the 2020 legislative session can learn more and sign up at www.indianahouserepublicans.com/pageprogram. Participants receive an excused absence from school and groups can request to page together.
