(Versailles, Ind.) - The Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) is pleased to announce the completion of a new mural in the Town of Versailles, a project made possible through a successful collaboration with the Town of Versailles and Main Street Versailles. The mural, titled "Stargazers," was created by artist Judy Eaton, a former RCCF board member, and funded by the Ripley County Endowment for the Arts.
“Stargazers” is a vibrant floral mural that adds a touch of beauty and whimsy to the downtown area. The mural is located on the side of Pat's Bulk Food in Versailles, Indiana.
“We are thrilled to unveil 'Stargazers' to the community,” said Holly Wehr, Director of Community Development for the Town of Versailles. “Public art has a proven impact on communities, making them more vibrant, welcoming, and attractive to residents and visitors alike.” The Town and Main Street Versailles extends a warm welcome to the public to come view “Stargazers” and experience the beauty and joy it brings to Versailles. We encourage everyone to take a moment to appreciate this vibrant artwork and explore the wonderful shops, restaurants and recreational activities that Versailles has to offer.”
