(Napoleon, Ind.) – An Indianapolis man suffered minor injuries in a single vehicle crash in Ripley County.

Ripley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on U.S. 421 just north of Napoleon on Wednesday around 5:00 p.m.

Deputies say a semi-truck and trailer, driven by Cameron Love, 35, lost control on wet roads while trying to negotiate a curve while leaving Napoleon.

The semi-truck went through the guardrail on the west side of the road and landed in the creek.

U.S. 421 had to be closed periodically between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. while crews cleaned up the wreckage.

Osgood Police, Napoleon Fire Department and Ripley County EMS assisted at the scene.
