The incident took place at a Florence home on Thursday evening.

(Florence, Ky.) – One person was injured in a shooting in northern Kentucky on Thursday.
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the incident at a home on Greenscape Drive in Florence around 7:18 p.m.
Upon arrival, deputies located a 38-year-old man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was airlifted to UC Medical Center, where he remains stable, but in critical condition.
Deputies also located a 38-year-old female who allegedly admitted to being the shooter.
Investigators say this was an isolated incident.
The investigation remains active, and no charges have been filed at this time.
Due to the ongoing investigation, the names of those involved have not been released.
