Somebody Is Breaking Into Homes In Batesville

Two homes were burglarized on October 12.

(Batesville, Ind.) - Two daytime burglaries in Batesville are under investigation.

Batesville Police Maj. Brad Wessel says two homes were broken into on Friday, October 12.

The first burglary was reported on Abby Lane in Farmington Estates. The homeowner reported leaving the residence at around 7:30 a.m., then returning at about 12:15 p.m. to discover the break-in.

Later that same day, a second burglary was discovered on White Oak Drive in Hillindale Commons. It happened sometime between 6:15 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The thief, or thieves, got away with cash, jewelry, and miscellaneous items.
