(Sunman, Ind.) – A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Sunday for Phase II of the Heritage Project.
The St. Nicholas Heritage Project is focused on updating and renovating the parish campus in two phases.
Phase 1, which was completed in August 2019, included a new Education Center. That portion of the project included nine new classrooms, a combination library and music room, and a combined STEM lab and art room, among other upgrades.
Phase 2 will address the need for a new Fellowship Center. A fundraising goal of $3.3 million was set to move forward with Phase 2.
The soon-to-be-built Fellowship Center will include two wings: a gym/cafeteria wing and a preschool/parish hall wing.
