Sunman-Dearborn Schools To Participate In Free Summer Meal Program

The program begins on May 19.

 

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Sunman-Dearborn Community Schools will participate in the Free Summer Meals Program.

Meals will be available May 19 through June 30.

Five breakfast and five lunches will be distributed weekly for free for all household members who are 18 years of age and younger.

Meals will be distributed on a first come first serve basis on Wednesdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Pickup is located at East Central High School near Door #14.

The free meals program is designed to provide nutritious meals to children when school is out of session.

More than 8 million meals were distributed at more than 1,700 sites throughout Indiana last summer.
