The Lights Are Back On In Hidden Valley

Electric service for Southeastern Indiana REMC customers was restored at around 6:15 Monday morning.

(Hidden Valley, Ind.) - Electricity has been restored for homes and businesses in and around Hidden Valley.

A 12-hour-long planned power outage for the HVL area began at 6:00 Sunday evening.

Thousands of Southeastern Indiana REMC customers were without power while Duke Energy crews repaired a 161,000-volt transmission line that was damaged during a power outage last Wednesday.

Service was restored at around 6:15 a.m. Monday.
