Thieves Taking Items From Vehicles In Batesville

Thieves are targeting unlocked vehicles, Batesville Police say.

(Batesville, Ind.) – Batesville Police have some advice for citizens who park their vehicles outdoors.

Lock the doors.

The police department has recently received multiple reports of vehicles being rummaged through. Some have had items stolen from inside.

“The BPD encourages residents to lock their vehicles and take valuable items out of their vehicles when parked,” says Major Brad Wessel.
