(Aurora, Ind.) - Three people have been arrested on drug charges after police seized a large amount of meth.
Aurora Police went to the West Conwell Street home of Jessica Mobarry on December 3.
Officers were there to serve an active arrest warrant for Nathan C. Hauck, who was wanted on prior charges related to dealing methamphetamine.
While attempting to serve the warrant, officer say they saw evidence of methamphetamine use in plain sight.
A search warrant was obtained and police allegedly located approximately 300 grams of methamphetamine inside the home.
Hauck and Mobarry were arrested and charged with Dealing in Methamphetamine (Level 2 Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine (Level 3 Felony) and other drug related charges.
Police also arrested Brandi Engelhardt on separate drug charges.
Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens commended the work of the Aurora Police Department in securing the arrests.
"Our officers are well trained to identify drugs being prepared to be sold in our community," said Deddens. "They take significant risks to their personal safety on these investigations and we are grateful for their dilligent efforts in securing such a large amount of methamphetamine."
As of December 6, Hauck, Mobarry and Engelhardt remain in the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
