It is Giving Tuesday, which is a global day of giving held each year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.
According to GivingTuesday.org, Giving Tuesday was founded in 2012 as a day that encourages people to do good.
The day has grown into a day that encourages people to donate to their favorite charity.
Since the first day of giving in 2012, non-profits in the United States have raised more than $1.9 billion.
In 2019, non-profits in the U.S. raised more than $500 million in online donations alone.
