(Elkhart, Ind.) - President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will be in Indiana Thursday.

The two will appear at a campaign-style rally at North Side Middle School in Elkhart. It starts at 7:00 p.m.

Trump's political advisers view the event as a way to project party unity following a bruising Republican U.S. Senate primary in the state.

Pence tweeted that they will be discussing their support for Republican U.S. Senate nominee Mike Braun at the event.  They may also target incumbent Democratic Senator Joe Donnelly.

The VP is expected to stay in Indianapolis through Friday afternoon.
