UPDATE: The water boiling advisor for parts of Rising Sun has been lifted.

Rising Sun Municipal Utilities said Saturday the water boiling advisory for parts of the city has been lifted.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Due to a water main repair, a Boil Water Advisory is in effect for portions of Rising Sun until further notice. Sections of our community include: South Walnut Street (SR 56) from Plum Street to Arnold's Creek. South Mulberry Street from Maiden Lane to Rio Vista Lane. All of Rio Vista Lane. All of Glenn Meadows Drive including the Glenn Meadows Apartments. If you have any questions, please contact Rising Sun Municipal Utilities at 812-438-3616.
