Yeager-Benson American Legion Post Names Its Educator Of The Year

(Harrison, Oh.) - With the 2017-18 school year coming to a close, local educators are being recognized with yearly awards. 

On Tuesday, Trevor Ward was named the Yeager-Benson Memorial American Legion Post #199 Educator of the Year. 

Ward teaches business and coordinates the DECA program at William Henry Harrison High School. He was selected for the award based on his professionalism, selflessness, service and commitment to his students. 

Ward says his goal as a teacher is to build the next generation of leaders one class at a time and one lesson at a time.
