Local Gymnast To Make 2nd Straight Trip To USAG Regionals

The competition includes some of the best young gymnasts in the Midwest region.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Megan Hayes, a 6th grade student at Rising Sun Community Schools, has earned a spot on Team Indiana and will compete in USAG Regionals as a Level 8 gymnast in Akron, Ohio next weekend.

She will compete against gymnasts from Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Kentucky and Illinois.

This is Megan’s second consecutive trip to the regional competition. Last year, she competed as a member of Team Indiana for Level 7.  

Megan trains at Gymanarium Gymnastics in Aurora and is coached by Laura Gillum.
