Local Sports Report - November 24, 2020

The boys high school basketball season got underway Tuesday night at Rising Sun.

BOYS BASKETBALL

South Dearborn 69, Rising Sun 52 (Eagle Country 99.3 Feature Game) - It was a close game at halftime (26-23 SD) but the Knights pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Shiners 43-29. South Dearborn was led by four double digit scorers: Isaiah Jefferson (16), Eli Hoffman (16), Reece Willoughby (14) and Quentin Stevens (11). Landon Cole and Peyton Merica had 13 points each for the Shiners. Dylan Martin chipped in with 11 points.
