Milan Swim Team Wins ORVC

The boys and girls teams both took home conference championships on Saturday in Vevay.

(Vevay, Ind.) - On Saturday morning, both the boys and the girls Milan HS swim teams won the ORVC.

The ORVC meet was held at the Switzerland County YMCA and the Indians brought home their fourth conference win in a row.

The Milan boys team scored a total of 115 points, winning against points scored by South Ripley 57, Rising Sun 44, Switzerland County 37, and Shawe Memorial 12. The girls team won with 89 points followed by Southwestern 72, Switzerland County 62, Rising Sun 42, and South Ripley 13. Milan High School won with 204 points.

The Indians were led in wins by Dylan Thomas, JJ Mutz, Liam Horton, Parley Hartwell, Emilee Knueven, Ayden Potts, Gabe Ridgon, Molly Knecht, Maggie Hudepohl, and Macey Hanson.

There are many big time drops with this swim team. Now it's time to prepare for the end of the season, sectionals.
