Student Stringers
Eagle Country 99.3 is seeking Student Stringers.
If you attend a high school in the Eagle Country listening area and are interesting in writing news, give us a call at 812-537-0944 or email News Director Travis Thayer at news@eaglecountryonline.com.
Student Stringers are asked to gather information, take photos and/or videos, and write a short story about positive happenings within your school. Eagle Country 99.3 will pay Student Stringers $30 per story (up to five per month) that are published at www.eaglecountryonline.com.
Story ideas will be cultivated by the Student Stringers, although help is just a phone call or email away. Story examples from current Student Stringer Chole Hunter (Milan HS) can be found below.
This is a great way for our area high school students to make some money while earning practical experience that could benefit them in the future.
Our Student Stringers are presented by FCN Bank.
Check back for Student Stringer Bios. In the meantime, check out the work of Chloe Hunter below.
