Student Stringers
Eagle Country 99.3 is seeking Student Stringers.
If you attend a high school in the Eagle Country listening area and are interesting in writing news, give us a call at 812-537-0944 or email News Director Travis Thayer at news@eaglecountryonline.com.
Student Stringers are asked to gather information, take photos and/or videos, and write a short story about positive happenings within your school. Eagle Country 99.3 will pay Student Stringers $30 per story (up to five per month) that are published at www.eaglecountryonline.com.
Story ideas will be cultivated by the Student Stringers, although help is just a phone call or email away. Story examples from current Student Stringer Chole Hunter (Milan HS) can be found below.
This is a great way for our area high school students to make some money while earning practical experience that could benefit them in the future.
