Charlie Daniels Recognizes Chris Young For Supporting The Troops

"I am immensely grateful to our military and their families for the sacrifices they make for our country and incredibly humbled to receive the Patriot Award honor from Charlie and The Journey Home Project," says Young.

(Undated)  --  Chris Young is being recognized for his contribution to the U.S. troops. 

He received the inaugural Charlie Daniels Patriot Award at the icon's annual charity dinner this week. 

The event benefits The Journey Home Project, which supports vets in their reintegration back into civilian life. 

Chris was awarded for performing for troops overseas on several occasions.
