Blake Shelton and others are sharing their sadness over the passing of a 1980's hitmaker.
(Nashville, TN) -- The country music community is heartbroken following the death of iconic country singer Earl Thomas Conley.
Blake Shelton was the first one to break the news yesterday morning.
He tweeted, "My heart is absolutely destroyed..." Shelton went on to say that Conley was his all-time favorite singer, hero and friend.
Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, The Oakridge Boys and The Bellamy Brothers also shared their condolences on social media.
