
Country music's most popular female artists were there.
(Nashville, TN) -- CMT is paying tribute to some of the most prominent women in country music.
The "CMT Artists of the Year" Special was held last night at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini and Maren Morris were among the honorees.
Loretta Lynn achieved the Artists of a Lifetime Award. A
lthough only females were honored last night, several males in the business were there to show their support.
