Jason, Maren, Jake Remember Route 91 Harvest Festival Shooting

Monday marked the first anniversary of one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history.

(Undated)  --  Country musicians are remembering the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting one year after the massacre. 

Jason Aldean, who was on stage when shots were fired on the crowd of concert-goers, shared a photo of the festival logo on Instagram, writing simply: "Thinkin about our Route 91 family today. #vegasstrong." 

Jake Owen had just finished his set when bullets rained down from the Mandalay Bay hotel.   In a lengthy post on Twitter, he said the victims will "always be in my heart and on my mind."  

Maren Morris performed the night before the mass shooting.  She paid tribute to the lives lost by posting lyrics from her song, "Dear Hate," on Twitter.  Morris debuted the song just days after the event. 

On October 1st, 2017, gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on the crowd at the Route 91 Harvest Festival, killing 58 people and injuring over 400 others.
