Johnny Cash's Childhood Home Now Historic Place

The country music legend grew up in Dyess, Arkansas.

(Dyess, AR)  --  Johnny Cash's childhood home is now a part of the National Register of Historic Places. 

The home is located in the small town of Dyess, Arkansas, near the Tennessee border. 

On Friday, it was given the designation of "Farm No. 266, Johnny Cash Boyhood Home."
