7-Year-Old Injured In ORV Accident

The accident was reported Saturday at a private property in Holton.

(Holton, Ind.) – A juvenile male was injured in an off-road vehicle accident in Holton.

Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the crash on private property in the 3800 block of West U.S. 50 on Saturday around 2:45 p.m.

The initial investigation showed a 7-year-old operator lost control of an ORV and struck a tree.

The child was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in North Vernon and later transported to Riley Hospital in Indianapolis with facial and abdominal injuries.

Conservation officers say the juvenile was wearing a helmet during the accident.
