In the True Holiday Spirit

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - The third annual holiday dinner, Christmas with Friends, is being held on Christmas Day, 2021 at the Dearborn Adult Center. Those who had previously thought they were going to spend Christmas alone can gather together with friends and neighbors to share both a delicious meal and the holiday spirit..

The tradition of Christmas with Friends continues this holiday season thanks to the generosity of individuals and businesses alike. This year’s event is going to be the best Christmas with Friends ever.

Ken Maddin, the founder and coordinator of Christmas with Friends, shared, "Since our first year, I've been amazed at the number of people who have been willing to spend part of their Christmas Day volunteering to ensure others have a great holiday. "

St. Elizabeth Health Care is one of the corporate sponsors of the event yet again this year. “What Ken Maddin is doing to care for his community is heartwarming,” said Chris Carle, Chief Operating Officer of St. Elizabeth Dearborn. “It embodies the meaning of ‘I’m right here,’ and we couldn’t be happier to sponsor his mission to bring people from all walks of life together during this holiday season.”

Christmas with Friends will be held on, of course, Dec. 25, 2021, from noon-4 P.M. Dinner will be served at the Dearborn Adult Center, 311 Tate Street, Lawrenceburg. In the spirit of the holiday, the meal will be filled with wonderful food, holiday music, give-a-ways, holiday cookies, and Christmas joy.

Volunteers are always welcome to make cookies or help with the event. To R.S.V.P. or volunteer, contact Ken Maddin at kenmaddin@gmail.com or 513-519-0006
